In 2002, after serving 30 years in church ministry and evangelism, Gary and Kathy Miller planted a church in the small rural community of Tuckers Crossroads, just east of Lebanon, Tennessee. This was a total faith mission, called by God, to a different kind of ministry than they had ever experienced. Under the constant leadership of Almighty God, the ministry was birthed on April 14th, 2002, with fifteen members in an elementary school in the area.
Over these 23 years they have seen more than a thousand souls come to Christ and countless miracles of deliverance, healing and restoration. From God’s direction to their obedience, many lives have been changed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ! They affirm that none of this was or is possible in man’s strength or ability. It could only be accomplished by the authority of God’s Word and the power of His Holy Spirit. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
Over the years of ministry I have observed, witnessed and been involved with many who are struggling in their walk with Christ. For some, it is an identity issue as they strain to grasp who they really are in Christ Jesus. For others, the constant battles of the mind that come from past trauma have rendered them powerless. Then there are others who have determined that the hardships are too great and the battle too difficult, so they self-medicate with drugs, alcohol or pornography. In all these areas of need, we can see the problems but fall short in understanding the core issues.
